The GABORONE is a double monk strap with a cap toe and brogue perforations along the seam. Two straps. Two gold rectangular buckles. No laces. The cap toe seam is edged with a single row of brogue perforation dots — restrained, precise, and entirely deliberate.
Deep hand-burnished chocolate brown. Mirror-polished. The colour is warm and rich — mocha in daylight, almost mahogany in low light. The slim elongated pointed last gives this shoe its authority. The double monk strap gives it its character.
The sole is the most traditional in the collection — full leather forefoot and shank, gold welt stitching along the entire perimeter, brass nail heel corners, dark grey ribbed rubber heel pad. Built to last. Built to be resoled. Built for the man who thinks in decades.
East African full grain leather upper — mirror-polished deep chocolate brown. Cap toe seam with brogue perforation dots. Double monk strap · two gold rectangular buckles. Leather lining. Full leather sole · warm tan forefoot and shank · Barcon Getta script branding · gold welt stitching · brass nail heel corners · dark grey ribbed rubber heel pad.
Named for Gaborone — the capital of Botswana, one of Africa's great success stories. A city built from almost nothing into one of the continent's most stable and prosperous capitals. For the man who builds with patience and intention.

Cleaning
For surface dirt — a slightly damp cloth, no soap. For deeper marks — a small amount of saddle soap on a damp cloth, worked gently into the leather, wiped clean, then dried with a soft cloth.
Conditioning
Apply a natural leather conditioner — beeswax-based or lanolin-based — every 3 to 6 months. Use a soft cloth, work in small circular motions, allow to absorb for 30 minutes, then buff lightly.
Water
East African full grain leather is naturally water resistant. If the shoe gets wet — wipe dry immediately and allow to air dry away from direct heat. Do not use a hair dryer or place near a radiator.
Storage
Store with shoe trees when not in use. Keep away from direct sunlight for extended periods. Use the dust bag provided.
The Patina
The darkening and character that develops over months of wear is not wear — it is the leather responding to you. Condition regularly and it will continue to develop for years. No two pairs age identically. That is the point.
