The HARARE is the boldest shoe in the Barcon Getta dress shoe collection. Hand-burnished olive forest green — deep, luminous, and entirely its own. The burnishing darkens at the toe cap and heel, lightens across the vamp. The colour shifts in different light. It is never the same shoe twice.
Double monk strap. Two silver gunmetal buckles. Clean cap toe seam — no brogue, no perforation. The silhouette is slim and pointed. The statement is made by the colour alone.
Then the sole. Salmon terracotta leather forefoot and shank — warm, unexpected, and perfectly considered against the green. Barcon Getta crest and script at centre. Dark grey cross-hatch rubber tread. The sole is as bold as the shoe above it.
East African full grain leather upper — mirror-polished hand-burnished olive forest green · darker burnished edges at toe and heel. Clean cap toe seam. Double monk strap · two silver gunmetal rectangular buckles. Leather lining · yellow/gold. Hybrid sole · salmon terracotta leather forefoot and shank · Barcon Getta crest and script branding · dark grey cross-hatch rubber tread.
Named for Harare — the capital of Zimbabwe, a city of jacaranda trees and wide boulevards set on a high plateau in southern Africa. A city of colour, resilience, and quiet beauty. For the man who is not afraid to be seen.

Cleaning
For surface dirt — a slightly damp cloth, no soap. For deeper marks — a small amount of saddle soap on a damp cloth, worked gently into the leather, wiped clean, then dried with a soft cloth.
Conditioning
Apply a natural leather conditioner — beeswax-based or lanolin-based — every 3 to 6 months. Use a soft cloth, work in small circular motions, allow to absorb for 30 minutes, then buff lightly.
Water
East African full grain leather is naturally water resistant. If the shoe gets wet — wipe dry immediately and allow to air dry away from direct heat. Do not use a hair dryer or place near a radiator.
Storage
Store with shoe trees when not in use. Keep away from direct sunlight for extended periods. Use the dust bag provided.
The Patina
The darkening and character that develops over months of wear is not wear — it is the leather responding to you. Condition regularly and it will continue to develop for years. No two pairs age identically. That is the point.
