The RIDGELINE is a chest sling built around a silhouette. The body tapers from a wide structured base to a narrow point at the top — a teardrop form that sits against the chest and moves with the body. It is the most athletic bag in the Barcon Getta collection. And the most organised.
The front face carries two full-height zip pockets side by side — main compartment on the left, secondary pocket on the right — with a large magnetic snap flap pocket centred between them. Three access points on the front alone. The rear zip pocket handles flat carry without opening the main bag. The strap is integrated into the back panel via fixed loops — it does not shift, it does not slip.
Full grain Crazy Horse leather in coffee and black. The coffee is deep and rich — pebbled, warm, and full of natural variation. The black shows the pull-up character of the hide — crease marks and tonal shifts that are unique to each bag. Both develop a personal patina with every carry.
Wide nylon webbing strap with gunmetal hardware. Signature V-notch leather detail at the top attachment point. Deep structured gusset — this bag carries more than its silhouette suggests. Full leather base. Polyester-cotton lining.

Conditioning
Apply a natural leather conditioner — beeswax-based or lanolin-based — every 3 to 6 months. Use a soft cloth, work in small circular motions, allow to absorb for 30 minutes, then buff lightly. The leather will darken slightly and return to its natural colour as it dries.
Cleaning
For surface dirt — a slightly damp cloth, no soap. For deeper marks — a small amount of saddle soap on a damp cloth, worked gently into the leather, wiped clean, then dried with a soft cloth.
Water
East African full grain leather is naturally water resistant. If the bag gets wet — wipe dry immediately and allow to air dry away from direct heat. Do not use a hair dryer or place near a radiator.
The Patina
The darkening, softening, and character development that appears over months of carry is not wear. It is the leather responding to your use. Condition it regularly and it will continue to develop for years. No two bags age identically. That is the point.
Storage
Store in the dust bag when not in use. Keep away from direct sunlight for extended periods. Do not compress under heavy objects.
