The MAPUTO is a full-grain leather wingtip brogue lace-up ankle boot — available in burnished tan/brown and dark brown. The wingtip W-cut runs across the toe and down the sides, with perforated brogue detailing along every seam. This is the boot that dresses up without losing its weight.
Full-grain leather upper — burnished antiqued finish (tan/brown) and smooth finish (dark brown). Wingtip brogue detailing cut into the leather. Lace-up ankle height. Leather lining. Hybrid leather and rubber sole — leather shank, rubber forefoot and heel for grip.

Cleaning
For surface dirt — a slightly damp cloth, no soap. For deeper marks — a small amount of saddle soap on a damp cloth, worked gently into the leather, wiped clean, then dried with a soft cloth.
Conditioning
Apply a natural leather conditioner — beeswax-based or lanolin-based — every 3 to 6 months. Use a soft cloth, work in small circular motions, allow to absorb for 30 minutes, then buff lightly.
Water
East African full grain leather is naturally water resistant. If the shoe gets wet — wipe dry immediately and allow to air dry away from direct heat. Do not use a hair dryer or place near a radiator.
Storage
Store with shoe trees when not in use. Keep away from direct sunlight for extended periods. Use the dust bag provided.
The Patina
The darkening and character that develops over months of wear is not wear — it is the leather responding to you. Condition regularly and it will continue to develop for years. No two pairs age identically. That is the point.
