The OPENSIDE is a shoulder bag defined by its closure. A push-turn lock — antique gunmetal, rectangular, tactile — sits at the centre of the front flap. Press it. Turn it. The flap opens. It is a small action that feels deliberate every time.
The body is tall and upright — 20 cm wide, 25 cm tall, 12 cm deep. Enough for a phone, a wallet, a tablet, a notebook, and everything else a full day demands. The main compartment opens via full-width top zip. The front flap secures the upper section. The rear zip pocket handles flat carry — cards, a boarding pass, a folded document. The side zip pocket takes the rest.
Pull-up full grain leather in jet black. The surface shows natural crease marks and tonal variation from the first day — this is not a defect, it is the character of the hide. It deepens with carry. It softens with time. The leather develops a personal patina that is entirely yours.

Conditioning
Apply a natural leather conditioner — beeswax-based or lanolin-based — every 3 to 6 months. Use a soft cloth, work in small circular motions, allow to absorb for 30 minutes, then buff lightly. The leather will darken slightly and return to its natural colour as it dries.
Cleaning
For surface dirt — a slightly damp cloth, no soap. For deeper marks — a small amount of saddle soap on a damp cloth, worked gently into the leather, wiped clean, then dried with a soft cloth.
Water
East African full grain leather is naturally water resistant. If the bag gets wet — wipe dry immediately and allow to air dry away from direct heat. Do not use a hair dryer or place near a radiator.
The Patina
The darkening, softening, and character development that appears over months of carry is not wear. It is the leather responding to your use. Condition it regularly and it will continue to develop for years. No two bags age identically. That is the point.
Storage
Store in the dust bag when not in use. Keep away from direct sunlight for extended periods. Do not compress under heavy objects.
