The TRAVERSE is the most compact bag in the Barcon Getta collection. The body is slim and upright — worn diagonally across the chest on a single strap, it sits flat and moves with you. It is the bag for the man who carries only what he needs, and needs it fast.
The front face is defined by the leather shoulder panel — a separate piece of full grain leather stitched directly onto the upper body, forming the strap attachment and the visual anchor of the bag. Below it: a full-perimeter U-zip pocket for quick-access items. Below that: a second narrow horizontal zip pocket for flat carry. Two front pockets. One main compartment. Everything in its place.
The main compartment holds a full-size smartphone, a passport, and a slim power bank simultaneously. For a bag this compact, that is the point.
Full grain Crazy Horse leather in dark coffee. The surface shows natural pull-up crease marks and tonal variation — lighter where the leather flexes, darker where it rests. This is not a defect. It is the character of the hide. It deepens with every carry.

Conditioning
Apply a natural leather conditioner — beeswax-based or lanolin-based — every 3 to 6 months. Use a soft cloth, work in small circular motions, allow to absorb for 30 minutes, then buff lightly. The leather will darken slightly and return to its natural colour as it dries.
Cleaning
For surface dirt — a slightly damp cloth, no soap. For deeper marks — a small amount of saddle soap on a damp cloth, worked gently into the leather, wiped clean, then dried with a soft cloth.
Water
East African full grain leather is naturally water resistant. If the bag gets wet — wipe dry immediately and allow to air dry away from direct heat. Do not use a hair dryer or place near a radiator.
The Patina
The darkening, softening, and character development that appears over months of carry is not wear. It is the leather responding to your use. Condition it regularly and it will continue to develop for years. No two bags age identically. That is the point.
Storage
Store in the dust bag when not in use. Keep away from direct sunlight for extended periods. Do not compress under heavy objects.
